Bette Midler will star in four more motion pictures with Touchstone Pictures under a new contract she signed with the Walt Disney Co. this week. The old contract would have expired with the completion of two additional films. Midler, who currently is starring opposite Lily Tomlin in Touchstone’s “Big Business,” began her association with Touchstone with the 1986 blockbuster comedy, “Down and Out in Beverly Hills,” and continued on with “Ruthless People” and “Outrageous Fortune.”
