Anaheim : High School District Gets PR Medallion
Anaheim Union High School District has received the National School Public Relations Assn.’s highest honor, the Gold Medallion, for the district’s overall public relations program.
Joanne Stanton, one of the trustees of the district, accepted the award at the association’s 35th annual convention in New Orleans on July 19.
The award cited Anaheim Union High School District for excellence in staff and student recognition programs, for good relations with businesses, and for quality in district publications and news releases.
“This Gold Medallion has brought honor to our school district,” Supt. Cynthia Grennan said.
She added that the award notes that the school district “continually strives to communicate with students, parents, staff and the communities it serves.”
The public relations program at Anaheim Union High School District is supervised by Bette Reinhartsen.
