A bargainer for the striking Writers Guild of America said today that the union will probably accept a contract, ending its 150-day walkout against television and film producers.

The guild’s negotiating committee was to meet this afternoon to hear top WGA negotiator Brian Walton present the contract hammered out in an all-night bargaining session with producers, said Arthur Sellers, a member of the negotiating team. “It’s my expectation that he is going to recommend that we go with this,” he said, adding that the committee would most likely support Walton’s recommendation.
