THE OUTDOORS : Large Striped Bass Still Hitting at Lake Silverwood
Lake Silverwood has been yielding big striped bass for several weeks, and the action in the San Bernardino County reservoir has yet to show any significant signs of slowing.
The fish, according to a lake spokesman, are averaging 12 to 15 pounds.
Ken Masumoti of San Bernardino easily topped that with a 22-pound striper and Rick and Greg Silks, both of Alta Loma, caught six stripers weighing 87 pounds.
