“Good Morning, Vietnam.” Touchstone. $29.95. 1987. R. If you got sick of hearing Robin Williams yelling “Good MORN-ing Vietnam” in all those TV promos for this comedy/drama about a Vietnam deejay, then prepare yourself for another barrage. Touchstone is launching a $6-million ad campaign to sell the video. And sell is what it should do: The film, a huge box-office success, is being released with a “sell-through” $30 tape tag.

“Love Me or Leave Me.” MGM/UA. $19.95. 1955. Another “sell-through” price on another notable film, one of the more remarkable biographies about ‘20s stars that ‘50s Hollywood was so fond of making. This one’s about Ruth Etting (whose other big hit was “Ten Cents a Dance”) and her association with a vicious gangster. Daniel Fuchs won an Oscar for his story and the performances by Doris Day and James Cagney were strongly praised.

“For Me and My Gal.” MGM/UA. $19.95. 1942. Gene Kelly’s first film teams him with Judy Garland in one more story about a song-and-dance team in search of fame. The Busby Berkeley-directed musical features a lively score (“After You’ve Gone,” “Ballin’ the Jack”).
