Ex-Employee Guilty of Theft From Allstate
A woman was ordered to pay more than $1,800 in restitution to Allstate Insurance after being convicted of pocketing the money while working for the company, prosecutors said Friday.
Sara Hebert, 42, of Burbank was found guilty Thursday by a Municipal Court jury.
Judge Patti Jo McKay ordered also placed Hebert on three years’ informal probation with the condition that she perform 150 hours of community service.
Prosecutors said Hebert embezzled the money in February, 1986, while working at an Allstate booth at a Sears store in the Boyle Heights area.
