Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Man Killed as VW Bus Runs Into Parked Car
A 25-year-old Santa Ana man was killed when his vehicle smashed into the rear of a parked car about 11:15 p.m. on Thursday in the 1100 block of West MacArthur Boulevard, police said.
Patrick Michael Healy was dead on arrival at Coastal Community Hospital in Santa Ana just after midnight, police spokesperson Maureen Thomas said.
Police used a hydraulic prying device to extricate Healy from the wreckage of his Volkswagen bus, which had knocked the parked car forward into another parked car.
