Zoo Investigating Drug Deaths of 2 Lionesses

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia —
Two of four lionesses that went into comas after being given overdoses of barbiturates died at a zoo, and investigators are trying to determine who drugged the animals, officials said Saturday.
The overdoses occurred at the Taiping Zoo, 150 miles north of Kuala Lumpur, last Sunday.
