Five U.S. Postal Service employees were charged Wednesday with selling cocaine and marijuana at the Alhambra Mail Processing Center. An undercover postal inspector made drug buys between December and July, Postal Inspector Steve Schneringer said.
“They were dealing on postal property to other postal workers,” Schneringer said. The five were suspended without pay from the 1,000-employee facility, he said.
Anna Maria Marlo, 29, of Azusa; Beth P. Bradford, 31, of West Covina; Celestina Rebecca Lopez, 32, of Whittier, and Michael James Terry, 37, of Whittier, were charged with selling less than one ounce of cocaine. Rebardo Randall Cummings, 35, of Montclair was charged with selling about three ounces of marijuana.
All were released on $10,000 bond, Schneringer said.
