Abortion protesters from several states rallied in Atlanta with evangelist Jerry Falwell, and 57 were arrested for blocking clinic entrances, bringing the number jailed since demonstrations began during last month’s Democratic National Convention to more than 300. Asked if he planned to join those being arrested, Falwell said: “Not today, but I’m willing to be, and I’m sure before it’s over it will happen.”
