F-104 Crash Kills Pilot

ANKARA, Turkey — A Turkish air force F-104 Starfighter jet crashed during a training flight, killing its pilot, the independent Hurriyet news agency reported Wednesday.
The aircraft, which crashed in an open field near the village of Beykoy late Tuesday, was from the Balikesir military air base, 250 miles west of Ankara, it said.
