Search Plane Crashes in Rockies; 1 Killed

SILVER PLUME, Colo. —
A single-engine plane involved in a search for a missing reporter crashed Friday in the central Rockies, killing one person and seriously injuring another, authorities said.
The plane, operated by the Civil Air Patrol, crashed near a low ridge about three miles from the search mission headquarters.
