Attacks on Gays
Apparently the City Council is now trying to order patrolmen in Heisler Park to stand guard over gays performing illicit acts so they don’t get their heads bashed in.
I don’t like to see anybody bashed over the head in Heisler Park, but the gays have brought this problem on themselves. My family has owned a house on Cliff Drive for 75 years. My parents, who have seen gays rendezvousing in the park as late as 6 a.m., are now dodging bullets on their front porch.
I can see no valid reason why gays or anybody else has to meet in Heisler Park at 4 a.m. Maybe there should be a curfew so our already understaffed and overworked police don’t have to spend their time protecting people performing illicit acts.
