Farah Inc. Says It’s Holding Talks With Undisclosed Suitors

EL PASO — Farah Inc., best known for its low-priced jeans and sportswear, said Monday that it is talking to undisclosed suitors about a sale of the company.
The firm said a sale was one of a number of alternatives being discussed, adding that it retained Wertheim Schroder & Co. to advise it on these alternatives.
Farah said the options included attempts to improve operating performance as well as a disposition of all or a part of the stock or assets of particular operating units.
