Blunt Memos to Yaroslavsky

Yaroslavsky should not be held responsible for the thoughts or actions of another. It would be unfair. He had not hired campaign consultants Berman and D’Agostino for his mayoral campaign, nor is there any evidence that he agreed with them.

In point of fact, Yaroslavsky’s actions speak for themselves. Instead of cutting back on City Council appearances as suggested by BAD, his good attendance record continued as always. As to the matter of fund raising, every potential office holder examines who his natural constituency is where he is most likely to obtain money. The fact that BAD worded this fact in an obnoxious fashion was not the workings of the councilman.

Both public figures and newspapers receive letters (memos) by the thousands with which they do not agree. I’ll bet you even have some disagreeable and offensive letters (memos) in your files.
