Santa Monica : Coalition Plans Job Corp Rally
Women in Community Service will have a free job corps rally from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. today at Virginia Park, 2200 Virginia Ave., to celebrate the opening of a new office at 2050 Colorado Ave.
Information on the service’s job corps program will be available at the rally, along with games, food, entertainment and prizes, including hotel accommodations, and tickets to movies, theme parks and events.
Women in Community Service is a coalition of Church Women United, the National Council of Catholic Women, the National Council of Jewish Women, the National Council of Negro Women and the American GI Forum Women.
