About 400 angry hockey fans turned out in Edmonton, Canada, for a rally Wednesday night to discuss buying the Oilers from businessman Peter Pocklington because of his decision to trade Wayne Gretzky to the Kings. Some fans in the region are also boycotting products made by Pocklington’s dairy and meat processing businesses.

Many of those at the rally sported black armbands to mourn Gretzky’s trade. Edmonton Mayor Laurence Decore pledged $4,100 (U.S. dollars) for the effort to buy out Pocklington.
