Latino Cabinet Appointment

Speaking of pandering to the Latino voter, President Reagan in his final days nominates a Mexican-American for his new secretary of education. It is obvious he is just trying to “con” the Latino voter to vote for his Republican pal, Vice President George Bush in the November elections.
Well, not to worry; it won’t work! We have Reagan’s and Bush’s number.
Come election time, we shall remember what Reagan has done for the last 7 1/2 years, especially to the working man, the elderly, the poor, the homeless and the underprivileged.
I, for one, have had it up to here with this President favoring the wealthy; his immoral arms race; his lack of compassion and caring for the common American citizen. We don’t need Bush and his Republican friends in the White House. Enough is enough!
