Final ‘Last Temptations’

Enough already!

Chris Willman’s article pushed me over the edge (“Messiah Without a Cause,” Aug. 21). As a heroic questioner-of-self for the last 21 years, I remain mystified by the need for a personal God.

Lighten up people; life can be very nice; follow some basic self-evident tenets: For example, do unto others; for every action there’s a reaction; 2+2=4.

It’s obvious from even a casual study of world history every religion is derivative. No one is right or wrong. Take responsibility for what you do and what happens to you and shut up. Why do you need to worship anything?
