Maiden the Cow is going Hollywood, but she didn’t have to hang out at Schwab’s to get noticed. The cow, who contentedly resides in Whitefield, Me., has a certain something that Walt Disney folks like: a mark on her side that looks very much like a silhouette of Mickey Mouse. A photography student noticed the mark on a picture taken of Maiden and sent it along to Disney. As it happens, Disneyland is hosting a special country fair this week, and Maiden, it was thought, would be a perfect addition to the animal exhibition. No word on whether a limo is being sent to the airport to pick up Maiden, who is expected to arrive Wednesday.
