Ronald D. Struck has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of Far West Savings & Loan, Newport Beach. He succeeds Charles Green, who remains chief financial officer of the holding company, Far West Financial Corp. Previously, Struck was a senior vice president of U.S. League Investment Services, a subsidiary of the U.S. League of Savings Institutions. After joining that organization in 1987, Struck opened the league’s first regional office on the West Coast. He also served as the national investment banking manager for the entire system. From 1984 to 1987 he was with Financial Corp. of America, where he held the positions of executive vice president, capital markets and strategic financial planning, and senior executive vice president, finance division, FCA Mortgage Securities.
