One guess as to where Dionne Warwick’s new song, “Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams,” will debut. No, not on MTV, or on any radio station. No: come Sept. 23, it will be the new theme song to “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” and it may not make Warwick more famous, but it will make her richer. Television Program Enterprises, which produces the half-hour show, asked Warwick in June to make the song for an undisclosed amount, saying it wanted something new to replace the years-old theme song. The company said it picked Warwick because she expresses the “style and elegance of the show.” Warwick, with songwriters Carol Connors and Albert Hammond, still is working on the tune, a spokesperson for Warwick said.
