Cyclists Respect Law Enforcement

The article “A Pack of Trouble on Wheels” was, I am quite certain, accurately reported. I am concerned, though, that the 800 San Fernando Valley Bicycle Club cyclists, who coincidentally also use Cal State Northridge as a starting point for their rides, will be confused with the irresponsible riders that were the subject of the article.

The behavior of SFVBC riders has been excellent, and the club has specifically disassociated itself from non-club riders using CSUN. Speaking for myself, I would like to advise Times’ readers that the vast majority of bicycle riders they may see around CSUN are not the irresponsible, immature people who were the subject of the article.
