Britain’s Prince Charles and Princess Diana have bowed out of their plans to attend the premiere of a controversial film starring rock singer Phil Collins that critics says glorifies crime. Collins wrote to the royal couple saying he didn’t want them embarrassed at next Thursday’s premiere of “Buster,” a movie about the 1963 Great Train Robbery in England that has prompted a public uproar. The premiere is to aid the Prince’s Trust and Turning Point, which helps children with alcohol and drug-abuse problems. Collins is a trustee of the organization.
