The bodies of two women and a man, victims of an apparent double murder and suicide, were found Tuesday in a house in South-Central Los Angeles, police said.

The bodies, which had been there several days, were discovered by the daughter of one of the victims, Los Angeles Police Lt. Victor Ramirez said. Neighbors helped the daughter break into the house to look for her mother, Emily Hall, 49, of Highland Park, whom she had not seen since last Wednesday.

Investigators speculated that Hall and the other woman, Elva Lopez, were shot by Donald Wiggins, who then killed himself. Lopez and Wiggins lived in the house in the 1600 block of East 41st Place, Detective Don Calash said.

A niece said Emily Hall had gone to the house on Wednesday to collect money she loaned to a friend. Neighbors said the location was a “coke house” and that they heard shots in the area on Saturday.
