Kaufman & Broad Home Corp.’s third-quarter profit jumped 41% from last year to $12.4 million. Revenue totaled $226.6 million, up 43%. The Los Angeles company, which is the largest single-family home builder in California and third largest in France, said the results reflect continuing strength in the home building operations in those two areas.
