RB Industries Inc., a Los Angeles-based furniture retailer, reported a $4.1-million fourth quarter loss and a loss of $4.7 million for the year. The company blamed charges related to its former interests in Cousins Home Furnishings Inc. and costs associated with a repositioning in its markets, the latter resulting in an operating loss. Chairman Joseph Sinay said he expects RB to post a first-quarter loss but has hopes for subsequent improvement.
