Alan Rosen of Warner Bros., producer of “Head of the Class,” the TV show actress Robin Givens recently was filming in the Soviet Union, took issue with a New York Post report that Givens’ husband, heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, behaved violently during the trip.

“He was on the set most of the time and was quiet, polite and nice,” Rosen said. “We all went out to dinner Monday night and he was very pleasant.”

The Post had reported, in a story quoting Tyson as saying that he is a manic-depressive, that Tyson had several violent episodes during the trip, including one during which he chased his wife, her mother and a secretary through the hotel.

“None of that happened,” Rosen said.
