Saavy for Years

I cannot enjoy myself at the movies these days because it takes me too long to recover from the wave of indignation that sweeps over me when the L.A. Times ad featuring Dennis McDougal rolls.

McDougal’s claim in the movie ad that the “general public” didn’t have any idea of what went on behind the scenes in Hollywood until Calendar began its in-depth coverage is astonishingly arrogant.

I hate to pop any bubbles, but we, the general public, have been Hollywood-savvy for years. You rarely tell us anything that we don’t already know.

Get over yourself, Dennis, and start doing some real digging.
