Radio Restrictions

Plaudits for your coverage of radio amateur Gordon West providing emergency communications for Jamaica following Hurricane Gilbert.
You left out an important part of the story, though. The public service Gordon provided requires the use of outdoor antennas, which are prohibited by deed restrictions in every new residential development in Orange County.
Clearly, the public allows such deed restrictions to proliferate at its peril.
