Trends in Industrial Real Estate Will Be Examined

Current trends and solutions to problems in the industrial real estate field will be explored Tuesday at the 1988 Industrial Real Estate Conference at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel, 5855 W. Century Blvd.

Among the speakers at the event sponsored by the American Industrial Real Estate Assn. are: Allen Moore, under secretary of commerce for international trade; Martha R. Seger, governor of the Federal Reserve System; Peter F. Allgeier, assistant U.S. trade representative for Asia and the Pacific; Peter D. Kelly, chairman of the California Democratic party, and Robert W. Naylor, chairman of the California Republican party.

Growth management issues will be discussed by Robert K. Best, director of Caltrans; architect Jon Jerde; Richard Peiser, director of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate Development, and Richard R. Wirth of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California.

The conference has been approved for nine hours of credit by the state Department of Real Estate and will qualify for CPA continuing education credit, according to Martin and Barbara Stolzoff of Real Estate Seminar Resources, conference managers. The fee is $195 and the hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m.
