ReadiCare Inc. reported that net income dropped 8% for the fiscal second quarter ended Aug. 31, to $469,000 from $508,000 a year ago. Revenues rose 5%, to $5.2 million from $5 million. For the first six months, the company’s net income declined 37%, to $625,000 from $985,000 a year earlier. Revenue increased 3%, to nearly $10 million from the $9.7 million posted in the first half last year.

ReadiCare, based in Newport Beach, is a developer and operator of outpatient medical centers and programs.
