Monopoly, the very capitalistic board game of greed, real estate holdings and accumulation of private wealth, may soon be available in the communist Soviet Union, according to the game’s manufacturer. A Russian-language version of the 53-year-old classic has been created using the Cyrillic alphabet, said Parker Bros., which has marketed the game since 1935. A spokeswoman for the Beverly, Mass.-based firm said a London-based Russian trade group representing Parker Bros. is negotiating with Soviet authorities to bring the game to the Soviet Union.
