The Olympics dominated TV viewing last week, but after that, the network shows of choice were . . . reruns. Not until position No. 17 did another first-run program appear on the prime-time ratings list released by A. C. Niesen Tuesday, and that was another sports event--ABC’s pro football game between the Colts and the Browns. The CBS comedy “The Cavanaughs” lured away enough Olympic viewers to rank 20th but ABC’s special with Garry Shandling ranked near the bottom. Mini-network Fox Broadcasting, meanwhile, scored an Olympic victory of its own: Its most popular program, “America’s Most Wanted,” landed in 36th place--the highest rating yet for one of Fox’s series.
