Michael Mesenbrink has been named executive vice president, sales and marketing, and Philip E. Goodrich has been named executive vice president, operations, for Medstone International, Costa Mesa. Both are new positions at the company. Mesenbrink joined Medstone from Medical Imaging Centers of America, a company he co-founded that builds and operates outpatient clinics and markets services to hospitals and physicians. Before that, Mesenbrink was with Johnson & Johnson. Before joining Medstone, Goodrich held executive positions with several high-technology companies. He served as president of Quantex Corp., Sunnyvale, and Loredan Biomedical, a Davis-based company. He was also with Backs to Work, a San Francisco back treatment clinic, and Pacific Measurements of Sunnyvale. Medstone makes shock wave systems for the disintegration of kidney stones and gallstones.
