24 Ferrari Sports Cars Sold for $14 Million

Twenty-four Ferrari sports cars built between 1950 and 1974 were sold for about $14 million at an auction here Sunday, the auctioneers said.

They said the cars, built at the Italian company’s Modena workshop, brought almost three times the sum expected. “It’s fantastic,” auctioneer Jean-Pierre Osenat said. “Even the most widely available models went for incredible prices.”
