Bistro Gardens on Ventura Boulevard

I would like to be counted as a Sherman Oaks homeowner who is in favor of the Bistro Gardens’ locating on Ventura Boulevard.

Though I appreciate the strong community efforts in controlling the future development of our community, the misguided efforts of the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Assn. and the myopic views of Rose Elmassian are difficult to fathom when the community should be embracing Mr. Niklas (owner of the Bistro) for moving into the neighborhood.

Homeowners must accept that the Studio City/Sherman Oaks area has become a middle ground where the once-staid life style of suburbia now must intermingle with the realism of a continuing expanding urban experience.

Instead of fighting the battle of the Bistro’s liquor license, Ms. Elmassian should be embracing the new restaurant as a benefit to the community.
