Coca-Cola Co.’s profit rose 8.5% to $294 million for the third quarter on a 5.7% increase in revenue to $2.1 billion. The Atlanta-based soft-drink company credited the results to higher sales of soft drinks and Hi-C fruit drinks. Soft-drink sales increased 6% in the quarter, including growth of 5% in the United States and 7% internationally. Hi-C drinks, a product of Coca-Cola Foods, recorded double-digit volume growth.
