Cerritos : Anti-Drug Film Scheduled

The public is invited to the Cerritos Library to view a film promoting the campaign that young people should "Just Say No" to drugs. The film and an award ceremony will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The half-hour film, composed of 12 skits performed by teen-agers for teen-agers, is the personal production of Dr. Daniel Wong, a Cerritos councilman whose medical practice is in Norwalk. "I wanted kids to take an active role in telling other kids to not use drugs," he said.

After the film is shown, Wong will present four scholarships ranging from $100 to $500 to the groups with the four best skits.
