A U.S. appeals court said that it would rule at a later date on Polaroid Corp.’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Shamrock Holdings Inc.’s $2.6-billion, or $42-a-share, tender offer for the photo company. The three-judge appeals court panel did not say when it would issue a decision.
