Quibbles & Bits

Last week, we chided Perry King for blaming--in TV Guide--the failure of his feature film career on a gay role he played in “A Different Story.” He writes: “Dear Outtakes, just want you to know that I didn’t say what (TV Guide writer) Mary Murphy said I said. What I really said was: ‘Whether it hurt me or not, I’d do it again in a second, because it’s the best film I’ve ever done, and my best work ever. . . . I’m proud of it.’ Yours, P. King.”
