Collector and publisher Forrest Ackerman’s “Ackermansion”--the Hollywood home of what is said to be the world’s largest collection of horror and science-fiction movie memorabilia--will serve as a location for “My Lovely Monster,” an independent feature by German film maker Michael Bergmann. The story of a silent German film monster who ventures to Tinseltown abetted by a young fan climaxes in a Hollywood Halloween party to be filmed this evening. Film guests include Ferdinand Mayne (Dracula in “The Fearless Vampire Killers”), Boris Karloff’s daughter Sara, and Ackerman. Bergmann’s “The Flyer” was awarded West Germany’s best film of the year in 1987.
