Honduras and Trinidad-Tobago, trying to become the final nation to advance to the third-round of World Cup soccer qualifying in the North and Central America and Caribbean region, played a scoreless tie at Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The teams meet again in Tegucigalpa on Nov. 13.

The United States, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guatemala already have qualified for the third round. The top two teams will qualify for the 1990 World Cup in Italy.
