“Et tu, Brute?” These words came rushing to my mind, when I saw Paul Conrad’s cartoon of Dukakis floundering in the whales’ ice hole in Alaska (Oct. 20).
Surely, Conrad of all people could not be bought by the Great Republican Propaganda Mud Machine! Conrad has been my life preserver and companion throughout these long sleazy years of the Reagan-Bush Administration!
Why has the media rushed to turn against Dukakis? Have they all been bribed by the Great Republican Propaganda Mud Machine? Suddenly the media have turned into a hungry pack of wolves!
