Roscoe Tanner, Stan Smith and Tom Gullikson will compete in the $40,000 Prudential-Bache Grand Champions tennis tournament Thursday through Sunday at the Rancho San Clemente Tennis and Fitness Club at San Clemente.
The tournament, the 11th of a 12-part series, features players 35-and-over who have earned more than $1 million in prize money, won a Grand Slam event, been ranked No. 1 in their country or played on a Davis Cup team.
Matches begin Thursday at 1 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
