1980 Election ‘Hostage Tale’

I commend you for publishing the article. Although the information is alleged, it still leaves many questions to be answered. One of the most nagging is why would the “Reagan Administration quietly authorize Israel to sell military equipment to Iran in the spring of 1981” if all of the hostages were released minutes following the inauguration in January, 1981?

Is this deja vu ? I remember so well when Sen. George McGovern came on television in 1972 with a complete story about the Watergate break-in and events dealing with it. All of this was flatly denied by the Nixon campaign--and no one seemed to be listening! We all know what followed not too long after President Nixon’s reelection. Our country can ill afford nor look forward to another such incident as the Watergate hearings. Hopefully, the Reagan-Bush people will respond to these allegations and get the whole story out in the open before this election.
