NBC’s Gay Protest

The article “Gays Protest ‘Midnight Caller’ Episode” quoted the representative of gay activist group in San Francisco as saying, “They’re not telling the truth (about AIDS)” (by Nina J. Easton, Oct. 25).

Gay activists managed to shut down production of the “Midnight Caller” series and NBC is taking their complaints seriously. Why hasn’t NBC claimed its First Amendment rights? That’s what Universal claimed when Christians protested that “The Last Temptation of Christ” did not tell the truth about Jesus.
