Gotaas-Larsen Shipping Corp. said it has agreed to be acquired by British firm GL Acquisition, which will pay $48 a share in cash, or about $670 million, for the Bermuda-based company. The purchaser is a private company formed for the purpose by David and Frederick Barclay of London, who control a group of family businesses including hotels, real estate and breweries.
