Most of MCI’s California customers will find their long-distance phone calls billed along with their local Pacific Bell calls in the middle of next year, when Pacific Bell takes over MCI’s billing chores under a long-term agreement. Pacific Bell already provides consolidated billing services for AT&T;’s long-distance customers within its local service areas. The agreement is subject to approval by the state Public Utilities Commission.
