SEATTLE —
Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services, an Australian leasing group, ordered 22 Boeing jetliners worth approximately $1.12 billion, Boeing Commercial Airplanes said today.
The order is for six 767-300 wide-body jets and 16 mid-sized 757s, said Boeing spokesman Tom Cole. The 757s will be powered by Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 engines, in a deal worth approximately $318 million to the British engine firm.
